Channel 12's mission is to provide the Big Canoe community with an efficient and timely venue, via the community cable access channel, for amenity information, announcements of meetings and events for Big Canoe organizations and social groups; for bulletins regarding public safety or other emergency situations; and for sales and promotion information on behalf of the Big Canoe Company.

Channel 12 is owned by the Developer and managed by the Big Canoe Property Owners Association through the General Manager's Communications Committee. Channel 12 is accessible by property owners who have a Windstream cable television subscription. It cannot be accessed by property owners via a satellite television subscription service.
