New License plates to benefit public libraries in the State of Georgia!
-
A portion of the charges for these special tags will be donated to the Georgia Center for the Book and in turn used to purchase books for the state's public libraries.
Each tag is subject to annual charges of $50 for the first year and $25 thereafter, in addition to standard registration fees.
Application forms can be downloaded here, but application must be made in person at your local county tag office. In order for the special plates to be manufactured, 1,000 applications must be received statewide before Dec. 31, 2008. If insufficient applications are received, all application fees will be refunded.
